As the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs<\/span><\/span> get underway, the Kingston Frontenacs<\/span><\/span> continue to be well represented on hockey\u2019s biggest stage with a strong group of alumni contributing across the NHL; both on the ice and behind the bench.<\/span><\/p>\n

Leading the charge offensively is Jason Robertson<\/span><\/span> of the Dallas Stars<\/span><\/span>, who enters the postseason in top form after a dominant regular season that saw him lead the club with 96 points and 45 goals . A dynamic scoring threat and one of the league\u2019s elite forwards, Robertson will once again be leaned on as Dallas looks to make another deep run.<\/span><\/p>\n

Out west, Max Jones<\/span><\/span> is part of an experienced Edmonton Oilers<\/span><\/span> group aiming to contend in a competitive Pacific Division bracket, while behind the bench, Frontenacs ties run deep. Hall of Famer Paul Coffey<\/span><\/span> and assistant coach Paul McFarland<\/span><\/span> are both assistants on Edmonton\u2019s coaching staff, bringing a wealth of experience and leadership into the playoffs.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Ottawa Senators<\/span><\/span> feature a pair of Frontenacs alumni in Leevi Merilainen<\/span><\/span> and Warren Foegele<\/span><\/span>. Foegele joined Ottawa late in the season following a trade with the LA Kings and adds depth and energy to their lineup.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another former Frontenac making his mark is Lawson Crouse<\/span><\/span> of the Utah Mammoth<\/span><\/span>, a physical presence helping his club embrace its first ever postseason birth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Andre Mondoux quietly put together a strong and reliable season on the back end for the Kingston Frontenacs in 2025\u201326, emerging as one of the club\u2019s most dependable defensemen. Appearing in 66 games, Mondoux recorded 6 goals and 12 assists for 18 points, while playing steady minutes in all situations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Where Mondoux made his biggest impact, however, was away from the scoresheet. He finished the season as one of the team leaders in both plus\/minus and physical play, posting a team best +19 rating while also leading the Frontenacs in penalty minutes with 48; an indication of his edge and willingness to play a hard, defensive style.<\/span><\/p>\n

On a young Kingston team that leaned heavily on developing talent, Mondoux provided consistency, physicality, and a stabilizing presence on the blue line. His ability to contribute defensively while chipping in offensively made him a key piece of the Frontenacs\u2019 core as they pushed through a competitive season and gained valuable experience for the future.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
