Hockey Fights Cancer Jerseys Revealed

Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys are more than just fabric and thread. They represent a battle that extends well beyond the ice. A fight against an opponent much bigger than any game. 

The Frontenacs will proudly wear their Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys on Friday, October 27th when they host the Oshawa Generals at Leon’s Centre. The jerseys will be auctioned off after the game with all proceeds being donated to the Canadian Cancer Society. 

What makes these jerseys special is the detail put into each sweater. Within the lavender colour scheme highlights names provided by season ticket members, billets, players and staff of loved ones that have survived, are currently battling or have lost their battle to cancer. Making these jerseys a beacon of hope that reminds our fans that no one is alone in their fight against this disease. Together, we can conquer any adversary, on and off the ice.

Each player will be taking the ice on Friday, October 27th wearing a unique coloured cancer ribbon on their left shoulder that represents what they “Fight For”.
