CONTEST: Design Mason Vaccari’s Mask for the Upcoming Season!

Goaltender mask designs carry some of the most interesting stories when it comes to uniforms in sports. For the 2023-24 season, Mason Vaccari’s mask will carry the story of “making a difference”.

Mason will allow a fan to design his mask for the upcoming season. At the conclusion of the season, the mask will be auctioned, and the funds raised will be donated as part of the Mason’s Miracles fundraiser.

The Kingston Frontenacs will provide fans with a printable PDF to allow multiple ways to submit your design. Please keep in mind that the primary colors used in the design should be black, white, and gold.

Mason will select his top 3 favourite designs, and each finalist will receive two tickets to a Frontenacs home game. The top 3 designs will then be put to a fan vote. The design with the most fan votes will win a personal meet and greet with Mason after a Frontenacs home game, as well as the two tickets earned for being selected as a finalist. Their design will be featured on Mason’s mask for the entirety of the 2023-24 season.

Details of the auction will be announced at the conclusion of the season. All proceeds from the auction will be donated, along with 50 cents from each save Mason makes throughout the year, to the pediatrics wing at Kingston General Hospital.

Entries for the contest will be closed on August 10th, 2023 at 6:00pm. To submit your design, please send your entry to [email protected]. Please also feel free to include a story as to why you designed the mask the way you did. This is not required, but could potentially help during the selection process.
