- Edmonton Oilers prospect and Flint Firebirds captain Connor Clattenburg put up a first-star performance on the road as he scored two goals and an assist
- Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Kaden Pitre was a critical piece in the Firebirds offence as he recorded assists on all five of Flint’s goals
- 67’s import Kimi Korbler notched his first goal of the season scoring the first of the game for Ottawa in the second period
