Quinton Burns signs Entry-Level Contract with St. Louis Blues
Kingston, ON – The St. Louis Blues announced earlier today that the club has signed Frontenacs defenceman Quinton Burns to a three year entry-level contract. Burns was selected by the St. Louis Blues in the 3rd round, 74th overall in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.
“I’m very excited to sign my first NHL contract with the St. Louis Blues. Huge thanks to everyone that has helped me get to this point!” said Quinton on his Instagram.
In three seasons with the Frontenacs, Quinton has appeared in 154 regular season games with 8 goals, 60 assists for a total of 68 career points. The Smiths Falls, ON native represented Hockey Canada at the 2023 World Under-18 Championships where his team captured a bronze medal. Burns also recently attended the World Junior Summer Showcase event for Hockey Canada as they look forward to this year’s World Junior Hockey Championship.

Quinton and the rest of the Frontenacs will be back in Kingston next week, as training camp begins on Thursday, August 29 with scrimmages at 11 AM and again at 5 PM, and wraps up on Friday, August 30 with a scrimmage at 9 AM.
