Frontenacs acquire forward Brody Cook from London Knights
Kingston, ON – General Manager Kory Cooper announced today that the club has acquired 2007-born forward Brody Cook from the London Knights in exchange for a pick in a future OHL Priority Selection.
Kingston receives:
FWD – Brody Cook (’07)
London receives:
2028 5th Round Pick (BFD)
Cook, 19, joins the Frontenacs after spending the 2025-26 season with the Knights, recording six goals and 12 assists for 18 points in 57 games.
The Birmingham, Michigan native originally signed with London as a free agent in February 2025 after a standout season with the Leamington Flyers of the OJHL. Cook recorded 16 goals and 31 assists for 47 points in 55 games with Leamington during the 2024-25 season, adding four goals and eight assists in 13 playoff games.
Cook made his OHL debut with the Knights late in the 2024-25 season before becoming a regular in London’s lineup the following season. The 6-foot, 190-pound right-shot forward also previously played with the Detroit Compuware AAA program.
“Brody is a veteran that can bring a lot of intangibles to our team,” said Frontenacs General Manager Kory Cooper. “He adds experience and detail to our group and we believe he will mesh very nicely within our style of play. He’s competitive, tenacious and can play a key role with us.”
Brody will wear #6 with the Frontenacs. Cook is currently committed to the University of Massachusetts for the 2027-28 season.
“For our fans, the way he plays reminds me a lot of Gage Heyes,” continued Cooper. “He prioritizes the team first, and can chip in offensively when called upon. We’re excited to welcome Brody and his family into the Frontenacs organization.“
