Honouring Bernie Nicholls
The Kingston Frontenacs will be raising Bernie Nicholls number to the rafters on Saturday, November 18th at Leon’s Centre. Be in the crowd to celebrate this honour and watch your Frontenacs take on the Brantford Bulldogs in an All state rivalry game.
Bernie skated with the Kingston Canadians from 1979 until 1981. During his rookie season in 1979-80, Nicholls scored 36 goals and collected 79 points. He followed up his freshman season with the greatest season the franchise has ever seen. In 65 games played, Bernie scored an astonishing 63 goals, 89 assists, for a team record 152 points.
