Carter Beauchesne OHL Draft Profile

The Firebirds used their fifth round pick, number 90 overall, in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection on forward Carter Beauchesne of the Upper Canada Cyclones U16 AAA.

Carter is a complete two-way centre that plays in every situation for his team. He is a very good skater that is quick off the mark and has very good edge control. He is a hard working player that makes everyone around him better with his unselfish team play and pass first mentality. His compete and consistency are probably his two biggest attributes, you know exactly what you are going to get from him shift in and shift out. He is relied on to play big minutes for his team and plays a solid 200-foot game.
