Firebirds Trade C.J. Clarke to Mississauga
Flint, Mich. – The Flint Firebirds announced today that the club has completed a trade with the Mississauga Steelheads.
In the trade, Flint acquires a fourth-round pick in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection. In return, the Firebirds trade forward C.J. Clarke to Mississauga.
“We would like to thank C.J. for his contributions both on the ice and in the community throughout his time in Flint,” said Flint Firebirds Vice President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Barclay Branch. “We wish C.J. all the best in his future endeavors.”
Flint will return home tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 2 when the Firebirds host the Saginaw Spirit for game five of the I-75 Divide Cup, sponsored by Coors Light. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. (ET) at the Dort Federal Event Center.
