Team White prevails over Team Blue 5-4

On Saturday April 26th the Barrie Colts held its annual rookie development camp at Allandale Recreation Centre in Barrie. The camp was made up of Colts draft picks from 2013 and 2014 along with some free agents. With the Barrie Colts coaching staff and management in attendance, all players were looking to make a good impression to help earn them an invite to main camp later this summer.

The fast paced game displayed lots of hits and scoring chances as players looked to stand out. The intensity picked up in the final period which saw plenty of rough stuff with the game deadlocked at 3-3. Late in the period Team White capitalized twice with Matthew Goeree scoring the eventual game winner.

With the net empty in the dying stages Team Blue would pull within one but Team White would hold on for the 5-4 victory.

Main camp will be held this August 2014.
