The Barrie Colts are now accepting applications online for Game Day Staff positions for the 2015-2016 OHL season.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
TEAM MASCOT – Charlie Horse
JOB STATUS: Part-time
– Must be 5’10” or taller
– Basic hockey knowledge
– Energetic and outgoing personality
– Must work well with children and in a team environment
– Must have a valid drivers license
– Creative and physically fit
* Skating experience is a preferred asset
Appearances: The successful candidate will work Colts home games including pre-season, regular season and playoffs. Other events include birthdays, community appearances, video footage, special events, sponsor appearances and more.
GAME-NIGHT MUSIC/VIDEO OPERATOR
JOB STATUS: Part-time
The Music/Video Operator would be responsible for the music and video selections at sporting events hosted at the Barrie Molson Centre.
– Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
– Must be able to work in a team environment
– Must be punctual, organized and have the ability to multi task
– Hockey knowledge is a must
– Knowledge of current and various genres of music
– Knowledge of Mac Operating Systems
The successful person will attend Colts home games including exhibition, regular season and playoffs, as well as other special events when needed. Experience is an asset.
GAME-NIGHT VOLUNTEERS
We are always looking for great people to volunteer at our games whether it is for school hours or just to gain experience in the sports industry.
Responsibilities:
– Assist in all home game-day aspects
– Pre-game presentations
– In-stand giveaways
– Intermissions and promotional events
– Jersey Raffle table
– Two-way radio communication
– Various other duties
