Colts Comeback Falls Short with Shootout Loss

Despite finding themselves in a hole for most of the game, the Colts were able to claw their way back from being down 3-0 early in the third period to tie the game at 4-4 before falling in a shootout.

After coming off a pre-season win against the IceDogs on Friday night, the Colts were looking to grab another win in Owen Sound Sunday afternoon. The Colts weren’t able to generate any offence in the first two periods, giving the Attack a 2-0 lead heading into the third period. However, the third period would prove to be an offensive surge for the Colts as they put up four goals to tie the game.

In the shootout, Attack’s Aidan Dudas would score the lone goal to give the Attack the win.
