Colts Christmas Craziness

With Christmas and the Holidays upon us, keep up to date with the four Colts games before and what’s going on! There are plenty of giveaways and great events that you won’t want to miss!…

Barrie Colts vs. London Knights
Thursday, December 10^th @ 7:30pm

GAME NIGHT: The Source – Special Olympics – Moksha Yoga Barrie – Barrie Mitsubishi – Jersey Auction

The Source and Special Olympics Ontario will be taking over the Barrie Molson Centre on the 10^th. Swing by “The Source Hub” on the 10^th to put your video game skills to the test and try out their PS4 games. The Source will also be giving away two PS4 consoles, along with a PS4 game. If you want to win one of the PS4’s, be sure to stay in your seat after the first intermission – after the Timbits play, everyone in the entire arena will have a chance at winning a console. 

Special Olympics Ontario will also be set up on the North East concourse and the West entrance. Stop by their tables to purchase a puck for their second intermission puck toss. Puck toss winners will have the chance to win even more amazing prizes, including an iPad, a signed Colts jersey, and a signed Colts stick. They will also be accepting donations to support their great cause throughout the game. 

To top it off, Barrie Mitsubishi and Moksha Yoga Barrie will also be joining in on the fun on the 10^th. Moksha Yoga Barrie will be at the West entrance, while Barrie Mitsubishi will be showcasing some of their vehicles after the second intermission puck toss!

And the cherry on top – the 2014-2015 The Source warm up jerseys will be available to bid on! The auction will take place during both games on the 10^th and 12^th, closing at the end of the 2^nd intermission on the 12^th. Any successful bidders will be contacted on Monday, December 14^th for payment and jersey pick up.

GAME NIGHT: Cabela’s – Christmas Cheer – Jersey Auction

Calling all outdoor lovers! Cabela’s will be sponsoring our game on Saturday, December 12^th. The first 200 fans that bring a donation to the game will receive a free Cabela’s gift! All donations will go to support Barrie & District Christmas Cheer. Cabela’s and Christmas Cheer will have bins set up at all four entrances, set up for donations all game. Donations can include: non-perishable food, toys or monetary donations. Be sure to stay tuned for an exciting outdoor themed second intermission too!

The 2014-2015 The Source warm up jerseys will still be available to bid on! The auction will be closing at the end of the 2^nd intermission. Successful bidders will be contacted on Monday, December 14^th for payment and jersey pick up.

GAME NIGHT: Monte Carlo Teddy Bear Toss in Support of The Darling Foundation – Action Tire

Get your Teddy Bears ready! The Teddy Bear Toss is back at the BMC on December 17^th. Fans are encouraged to bring stuffed animals or purchase a bear the night of the game on the concourse to toss on the ice when the Colts score their first goal of the game! All bears thrown on the ice will be donated to the Darling Foundation, Barrie Fire Services, and Barrie Police. A special thanks goes out to the Barrie Fire Services for their continued support. 

The 17^th will also feature a special pre-game presentation for our Adopt a School program presented by Scotiabank. During the first intermission, Action Tire is going to be putting on a special intermission too, where one lucky fan will be going home with a set of winter tires valued at $700.00 retail value! A prize like that truly comes in handy with those Barrie winters. And in the Christmas spirit, the second intermission will feature the first ever “Colts Christmas Unwrap Challenge”. The winner will be going home with a special Christmas gift!

Saturday, January 19^th @ 7:30pm

GAME NIGHT: Investors Group

Are you a remote control car lover? You will have to see what Investor’s Group has in store on the 19^th. With an incredibly cool remote control car race taking place during the second intermission, it is sure to be a sight to see! And on top of that, Investors Group is giving everyone at the BMC a chance to take part in a national draw that could win you $30,000!! All you have to do is head to their table at the West Concourse to learn more and fill out your ballot.

And you can support other teams in the Barrie area, such as the Barrie Blizzard, as they will be set up on the East Concourse on the 19^th. You can learn about the Canadian Lacrosse League that they are a part of, and maybe even have the chance to attend one of their games.
