Colts Announce 2016 Development Camp
The Barrie Colts announced today the details of their annual development camp for players taken in the 2015 and 2016 OHL Priority selections in addition to free agent invitees.
The two-day camp will take place at the Allandale Recreation Centre Saturday, May 14th & Sunday May 15th, 2016.
“This camp gives management and coaches a chance to evaluate everyone at this point in the off-season, and provide feedback to each player as to what they may need to work on,” said Colts General Manager & Head Scout Jason Ford.

2016 DEVELOPMENT CAMP SCHEDULE
Saturday May 14th, 2016
Blue Team Practice – 2:00pm to 3:00pm (Allandale Recreation Centre – Red)
White Team Practice – 3:00pm to 4:00pm (Allandale Recreation Centre – Red)
Fitness Testing – 4:00pm Allandale Recreation Centre (Blue) – Both Teams**
Sunday May 15th, 2016
Intrasquad Game: Team Blue vs. Team White Time: 10:30am – 12:00pm
Location: Allandale Recreation Centre – Red
Barrie completed the 2016 OHL Priority Selection on Saturday, April 9th where they drafted nine forwards, six defencemen and one goaltender.
All fans are welcome to attend this event, as they will have their first chance to see Barrie’s 2016 draft selections Jack McBain, Tyler Tucker and OHL Cup Champion Matthew MacDougall along with 2015 3rd round pick Jason Willms.
Admission is free and rosters will be provided.
