Colts Announce 2016-2017 Regular Season Schedule
The Barrie Colts are proud to announce their regular season schedule for the upcoming 2016-17 season.
This year’s regular season home schedule has 14 Thursday night games, and 20 Saturday night games. The annual New Year’s Eve game will take place on Saturday, December 31st against Central Division rival, the Sudbury Wolves.
The Colts will begin the season on the road for their first three games, starting off with in Kingston on Friday, September 23rd against the reigning Eastern Division champions. The Colts will then play on Sunday, September 25th against the Ottawa 67’s. Before the Colts can get started in Barrie, they will travel to Sudbury for a game on Friday, September 30th. The following day on October 1st, the Colts will welcome the MasterCard Memorial Cup Champions, London Knights to the Barrie Molson Centre for their home opener.
Last season, the Barrie Colts finished with 89 points, good for second place in the Eastern Conference, while also clinching their 7th Central Division title in franchise history and third in the last four years.

September – 3 games – 0 home, 3 away
October – 12 games – 7 home, 5 away
November – 11 games – 5 home, 6 away
December – 9 games – 6 home, 3 away
January – 12 games – 6 home, 6 away
February – 12 games – 7 home, 5 away
March – 9 games – 3 home, 6 away
Total – 68 games- 34 home, 34 away
