Ben Hrebik Commits to Colts
The Barrie Colts are proud to announce the signing of goaltender, Ben Hrebik, to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
The Milton, ON, native was a 9th Round Selection by the Colts in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection . The 6.03 and 189lb goaltender played last season for the Burlington Cougars U18 program. In 19 games, Hrebik recorded 3 shutouts and a 1.21 GAA. With his GAA, he recorded the lowest GAA of the past four seasons.
“Ben has continued to improve and left a great impression with our Director of Goaltending, David Belitski, at our training camps this year. He has proved through his development and commitment that he is a goalie that we can rely upon for the future. We are looking forward to working with him and the Burlington Cougars (OJHL) to help continue his development this season.” Commented Head Coach & GM, Marty Williamson.
