Barrie Trades Captain Cordell James to Owen Sound
Barrie, ON– Barrie Colts General Manager & Head Scout Jason Ford announced today that they have completed a trade with the Western Conference, Owen Sound Attack.
The Colts acquire a 4th Round Pick in 2018 (SSM) from the Attack in exchange for overage Centre and Captain Cordell James.

James, a Hamilton native was the Colts 5th round pick (92nd overall) in 2012. The 20 year old has played in four seasons with the Colts in a total of 234 games in the Ontario Hockey League tallying 46 goals and 59 assists and picking up 97 penalty minutes.
The Colts will look to get back in the win column this weekend as they start in Kitchener on Friday. They follow up that meeting with two central division opponents, having a date with Niagara at home on Saturday and finishing the weekend in North Bay on Sunday.
