1ST STAR: GREG MEIRELES (KITCHENER RANGERS) – 3G, 3A
Florida Panthers prospect Greg Meireles had a career night, netting six points including a hat-trick as the Kitchener Rangers skated to a 7-4 win in Guelph. Down 4-3, Meireles got the Rangers headed back in the right direction with 1:49 to go in the second period before netting the game winner 1:17 into the third and completing the hat-trick with 3:29 to go. The overage forward from Ottawa, Ont. has 65 points (31-34–65) over 48 games this season as a fifth-year veteran in the Rangers lineup. The former first round pick in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection was selected by Florida in the sixth round of the NHL Draft last summer.

2ND STAR: CONNOR PUNNETT (BARRIE COLTS) – 2G
Barrie Colts rookie blueliner Connor Punnett scored the first two goals of his OHL career to power a 4-1 road win over the Owen Sound Attack. The 6-foot-1, 185Ib. defender from Huntsville, Ont. opened the scoring 2:34 into the second and rounded it out with 4:33 left in the third period. Acquired from the Saginaw Spirit in January, Punnett was the 19th overall pick of the 2019 OHL Priority Selection from the North Central Predators Minor Midgets. He has six points (2-4–6) over 51 games this season.

3RD STAR: JET GREAVES (BARRIE COLTS) – 42 SV
Sophomore netminder Jet Greaves turned aside 41 of the 42 shots he faced as the Barrie Colts got past the Owen Sound Attack 4-1 on the road. The Colts were outshot 43-31 but managed to pick up two points as Greaves improved to 13-15-2-0 with a 3.99 goals-against average and an .888 save percentage. The 18-year-old from Cambridge, Ont. was selected by Barrie in the third round of the 2017 OHL Priority Selection.
