Over 4,000 Pounds of Food Collected in 2017 Fill the Bus Campaign

The Barrie Colts have set the bar high collecting 4,484 pounds of food in one night! Let’s see what you can do Barrie Minor Hockey, Barrie AAA, Barrie Sharks and Barrie Ringette”.  Contact Peter Sundborg from the Barrie Food Bank today to register your team for the 2017 Coach4Food Program for your chance to win a practice with the Barrie Colts.

The team made stops are four locations on Wednesday, November 8th. Huge thank you to Justin’s No Frills (Angus), John’s No Frills (Innisfil), Joe’s No Frills (Barrie) and Rob’s No Frills (Barrie) for all their support in helping collect all the food throughout the night. Also a huge thank you to Hammond Transportation for helping make this happen with the donation of the team bus for the evening.

We now turn to you Barrie! We have ten teams collecting food in our “Coach4Food” program and are expecting to break more records. Let’s help them as much as we can Colts Fans!
