Colts Weekly Report
The Barrie Colts had a standout week, highlighted by several key performances and individual milestones across the roster.
Bode Stewart opened the scoring in the home-and-home series against the Sudbury Wolves, while Emil Hemming, Joe Salandra, Nicholas Desiderio, and Kashawn Aitcheson contributed pivotal goals to help secure the victory. Aitcheson continued his historic offensive pace, recording a first-period hat trick in Friday night’s matchup. Rookie goaltender Hagan Bach made his Ontario Hockey League debut and earned his first career OHL win, marking an exciting start to his junior career and adding another bright spot to the Colts’ weekend. Brad Gardiner added multiple points over the course of the weekend, bringing his season total to 13 goals, highlighting the growth and depth emerging from the young roster.
The northern trip concluded in Sault Ste. Marie, where Barrie delivered another strong showing, pushing to overtime to receive a point to cap off a three-in-three week of hockey. With contributions coming from every corner of the lineup, the Colts continue to demonstrate resilience, depth, and a competitive edge as the season progresses.
