Barrie Colts Host Annual Country Night Saturday vs. North Bay Battalion

The Barrie Colts return to home ice on Saturday, March 7th for their annual Country Night, presented in partnership with Herbert’s Western Boots. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Sadlon Arena as the Colts welcome the North Bay Battalion in an important late-season Ontario Hockey League matchup.

Arena doors will open at 6:30 p.m., while the Horsepower Sports Bar will welcome fans beginning at 5:00 p.m. for pre-game festivities and will remain open following the game.

Game Night Details

One of the organization’s most anticipated theme nights of the season, Country Night invites fans to break out their best southern style — cowboy boots, denim, plaid and all — for a night of hockey and entertainment in Colts Country.

The Colts enter the matchup continuing their push through the final stretch of the OHL regular season, with valuable points on the line against a familiar divisional rival in the North Bay Battalion.

Fans in attendance can look forward to exciting intermission entertainment throughout the night:

1st Intermission: Herbert’s Race, sponsored by Herbert’s Western Boots

2nd Intermission: Real Canadian Superstore Shopping Cart Race

Saturday’s game will also feature the debut of the Real Canadian Superstore Designed Jersey, giving fans their first look at this special edition uniform. A lucky young fan will have the exciting opportunity to take part in the jersey reveal, selected through a fan contest run by the Barrie Colts in partnership with Real Canadian Superstore.

With themed entertainment, fan-favourite intermission games, and an electric atmosphere expected at Sadlon Arena, Country Night continues to be one of the most entertaining nights of the Colts’ season.
