Barrie Colts Aquire, Anthony Figliomeni, in Trade with the Oshawa Generals
The Barrie Colts Hockey Club has acquired forward Anthony Figliomeni from the Oshawa Generals in exchange for Barrie’s fourth-round selection in the 2030 OHL Priority Selection.
The Mississauga native joins the Colts after spending the past two seasons with the Generals. Originally selected by Oshawa in the fourth round, 65th overall, in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection, Figliomeni brings both experience and a physical presence to Barrie’s forward group.
The 18-year-old appeared in 55 games with the Generals during the 2025-26 season, recording six goals and seven assists for 13 points while adding 60 penalty minutes.
“We think Anthony is a really good fit for our group going forward,” said Colts General Manager Marty Williamson. “He’s a strong, hard-nosed player who plays a rugged game, but we also believe he has the ability to contribute offensively. He fits into what we’re building both now and into the future.”
Figliomeni spent his minor hockey career in the Greater Toronto Hockey League with the Toronto Marlboros before making the jump to the Ontario Hockey League.
The Colts are excited to welcome Anthony and his family to the organization.
Welcome to Barrie, Anthony!
