Job Opportunity : Merchandise Office Manager
Merchandise
• Organize gameday and office store displays and inventory
• Manage and schedule part-time staff for Bulldogs’ gamedays, including overseeing
reconciliation of cash and card payments after each game
• Maintain relationships with merchandise suppliers, order new merchandise (including approval of proofs and samples) and re-order as needed
• Set and review merchandise pricing regularly, organize sales and promotions throughout the year; coordinate with marketing staff on email and social media advertising to drive online sales
• Responsible for all aspects of our online store (bulldogsshop.com) including presentation and organization of the site, and shipping and fulfilling orders
• Responsible for performing periodic inventory counts to ensure accurate inventory and data integrity
Office/Accounting – Hockey Club and Bulldogs’ Foundation
• Manage purchase order requests, assign PO#s, and match with invoices as received
• Assist with Accounts Payable, ensuring invoices are approved and matched with POs, entered in accounting system; printing cheques and processing EFT payments
• Assist with billing and collection of corporate accounts and other accounts receivable
• Prepare cash/cheques for bank deposits (weekly)
• Monthly reconciliation of team credit card accounts• General office admin duties, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY SKILLS
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented with ability to handle multiple assignments
• Provide a high level of professional and courteous customer service
• Excellent ability to communicate and solve problems as they arise
• Enthusiastic about working in a unique, fast-paced and ever changing environment
• Respond to staff, customer and community requests in a timely and professional manner
• Ability to maintain confidential information is required
• Flexible availability to work evenings/weekends and a commitment to all Bulldogs’ home
games
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, mainly Excel
• Experience using Shopify, QuickBooks and/or Microsoft Dynamics GP is an asset
