BULLDOGS OPEN 2023-24 TRAINING CAMP
The Brantford Bulldogs opened festivities on Sunday night as the members of the 2023-24 Training Camp reported to the Telephone City for the first time to begin preparations for the new season. With construction at the Brantford Civic Centre ongoing, the Bulldogs are holding training camp at the nearby Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre.
Monday opens the on ice sessions with returning veterans having taken to the ice for a morning skate followed by the Orientation Camp players taking to the ice for a morning skate followed by a scrimmage in the afternoon.
On Tuesday, the 51 attending players will be split into three teams with the morning sessions consisting of three intra-squad scrimmages as the Orientation Camp players step in alongside the returning veterans looking to make their own impressions.
Wednesday will feature the highlight of the week with camp split into two full teams for the Black & Gold game at 3:00pm which will be open to the public and live streamed for Bulldogs fans who are unable to make it to Gretzky Centre to see it take place in person.
Thursday & Friday will see the players who will travel to Erie for the team’s first pair of pre-season games, practice before travelling on Friday for their meetings with the Erie Otters and Saginaw Spirit.
