JORIAN DONOVAN JOINS TEAM CANADA FOR WORLD JUNIORS
As announced this afternoon by Hockey Canada, Brantford Bulldogs defenseman & Ottawa Senators prospect Jorian Donovan has been added to Team Canada for the 2024 World Junior Hockey Championship in Sweden!
Donovan, originally the 6th overall pick in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection Draft will add another accolade to his already impressive resume, having been part of the Bulldogs 2022 OHL Championship, drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, skated at the AHL level with the Belleville Senators and just recently set a new career mark for goal scoring by a Bulldogs defenseman at 23 & counting.
A slickly skilled & gifted offensive defenseman, Dononvan will look to make it father-son golds at the World Junior Hockey Championship with dad Shean Donovan having struck gold at the 1995 edition of the tournament.
Donovan joins MacKenzie Entwistle & Mason McTavish as Bulldogs players selected to represent Canada at the World Juniors.
CONGRATULATIONS JORIAN!!!!!
