BULLDOGS ACQUIRE DRAFT SELECTION FROM COLTS FOR TSHERNA
BRANTFORD, ONTARIO. Brantford Bulldogs President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Spencer Hyman today announced the acquisition of BAR 6th ’28 in exchange for forward Dylan Tsherna.
Tsherna, of Maple, ON, was originally selected in the 2nd round, 34th overall, by the Bulldogs in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection Draft from the Don Mills Flyers U16 AAA program where he led his team with 18 goals & 16 assists for 34 points in 31 GTHL league games. Making the team out of camp as a rookie in the 2023-24 season, Tsherna has gone on to play 112 games across three seasons in Brantford posting 9 goals & 14 assists for 23 points. Tsherna has brought his fast and physical style to the playoffs in all three of his OHL seasons, collecting 6 points across 22 post-season contests, including 2 goals & 2 assists across 10 games in the 2025 playoffs as part of the fan favourite “TNC” line alongside Noah Nelson & Calvin Crombie.
