2026 OHL Draft Media Availability: Max Fransen

Get to know your the first of 17 players that will make up the Next Wave of Attack players in the Bears Den, Max Fransen.  The Attack selected him 8th overall in the 1st round at the 2026 OHL Priority Selection in Kingston, Ontario.  Fransen, a native of Toronto, Ontario, is a 5-foot-10-inch defensemen out of the Upper Canada College Blues U16 AAA program.

Fransen comes to the Attack with a connection to the Scenic City, with his dad Aaron having suited up for the Owen Sound Platers for 31 games during the 1998-99 season, after being acquired from the Kingston Frontenacs.
