Attack Drop 8-4 Decision In Front of Sell Out Crowd in Hanover
Wednesday night marked the Owen Sound Attack’s first home game, of sorts, of the 2023 pre-season. The Attack took on the Barrie Colts at the P & H Centre in Hanover in front of a boisterous sell out crowd. Unfortunately, the for all the Bears fans in attendance the Colts defeated the Attack 8-4. Both teams had success on the power play with the Colts going 2-for-3 and the Attack scoring twice on four attempts.
Cole Beaudoin led the way for Barrie registering a goal and 3 assists on the night, while Josh Kavanagh and Tai York each had 3 assists. Deni Goure led the charge for the Attack registering assists on three of the Attacks four goals, While Declan Waddick and Ethan Burroughs each had a goal and an assist.

Up next for the Attack is their final pre-season game against the North Bay Battalion on Saturday, September 23 at 2pm at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. Then the Attack will prepare for the start of the regular season the following week with the home opener scheduled for Saturday, September 30 at 7pm against the Barrie Colts.
