Preview: Attack Geared Up for Crucial Matchup With Flint Firebirds
The Owen Sound Attack continue their playoff push at the Bayshore on Wednesday night at 7pm for one of three key Western Conference matchups this week. The Attack will play host to the Flint Firebirds, looking to bounce back after two losses in Erie this past weekend. With only six games remaining and only one point out of the final playoffs spot, every game is crucial as the Attack continue their playoff push.
Wednesday night marks the fourth and final matchup of the regular season between the Attack and Firebirds. Flint has had the Attack’s number this year, coming out victorioius in all three of their previous matchups. The Attack will need to lock down the offensive fire power coming from Nate Aspinall and Kaden Pitre, both scoring two goals in their previous three matchups. The Bears will get a helping hand from St.Andrew’s College centre and Cornell University commit, Michael Dec whothe team announced early Monday they had recalled for this week’s action. Dec has provided success to the Attack’s offence this season, potting two goals and four assists in five games with the Attack.
Tickets for the final three regular season Attack home games can be purchased at the MacVicar & McComb Sutton Realty Attack Box Office, over the phone at 519-371-7452 or online at tickets.attackhockey.com.
