Masen Wray Commits to The Holy Cross Crusaders
Owen Sound Attack forward Masen Wray has announced his commitment to the College of The Holy Cross for the 2027-28 NCAA hockey season. Holy Cross Crusaders runs out of Worcester, Massachusetts, USA. Falling into the NCAA Division I.
“We couldn’t be prouder of Masen and his dedication in earning a scholarship to the incredible program at Holy Cross” says Attack Assistant Coach, Brandon Shaw.
“Masen has been a tremendous addition to the Attack, both on and off the ice. His combination of size, skill, and hockey IQ highlights his immense potential as a player.”
Shaw says he has witnessed Wray consistenly demonstrate his abilities to make an impact and produce at the OHL level and beyond.
“A huge congratulations to Masen for his relentless hard work and resilience, which have paved the way for the exciting opportunity to continue his development and pursue his ultimate goals.”
Wray, a native of North Bay, ON, was originally selected by the Brantford (former Hamilton) Bulldogs, of the 2022 OHL Priority Selection. He played two seasons with the Brantford Bulldogs before being traded to the Niagara IceDogs for the 2023-24 season. Making his Owen Sound Attack debut early December of 2024. Appearing in 162 regular season OHL contests, the 6’4″, 185lbs. centreman has registered 16 goals, 18 assists, and 34 points over his time in the Ontario Hockey League.
Attack General Manager, Dale DeGray commented on how he would like to congratulate Wray and his family on the recent news.
