Much like many first periods in the 2025 season, both teams would battle it out for every inch of ice. With the Colts making an early goal in the period (By Barrie Captain Cole Beaudoin), Owen Sound would look to answer back in full force. The remainder of the period would be spent in between a handful of power plays, penalties and good scoring chances. Carter George in net for the Attack would remain a calm cool force, making multiple saves. The buzzer would sound for the end of the second period with no additional movement on the board.
Staying to the path the Attack continued their push in the third period. 5 minutes in, Lenny Greenberg would pass the puck up and in over the blueline to the Colts territory. Finding the puck there, Zurawski would continue to push the pace, passing over to teammate Delisle, Delisle hammered home the puck into the corner of net making his 10th goal of the season. Barrie loosing control of the puck would see it fired back into their own zone. Speeding his way down the ice, Crawford took no chances, shooting at the net short-handed giving the Attack the nail in the coffin 5-1 final score.
