OWEN SOUND, Ont. — The Owen Sound Attack are pleased to announce the club has signed forward Alex Lisi to a Standard Player Development and Education Agreement. Lisi, the team’s 128th overall pick in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection Draft will join the Attack organization as the club continues to build its roster ahead of the 2026-27 Ontario Hockey League season.

The Tecumseh, Ontario native, spent the 2025-26 season with the Chatham Maroons of the GOHL, where he had 41 points (16 goals and 25 assists) in 46 games, while adding 2 goals and an assist in the playoffs. During the 2025-26 campaign Alex Lisi received some high praise, being named GOHL Prospect of the Week by the OHL and named GOHL Rookie of the Month for December. He was also named to the GOHL Prospects game in Peterborough, and to the GOHL U18 team that competed at the St. Andrew’s College MacPherson Challenge Tournament.

“I am incredibly excited and honoured to have signed with the Attack, we have a great group here in Owen Sound that are super close,” said Lisi. “I am ready to get the season started and play in-front of the fans this year.”

The Standard Player Development and Education Agreement provides Lisi with an opportunity to continue his hockey development while pursuing his educational goals as a member of the Attack organization.

“On behalf of the Owen Sound Attack, we are happy to welcome Alexander and his family to our organization officially,” Said General Manager and Team President, Tyler Nother. “Alexander is a skilled 200-foot centre who embodies what it means to be an Owen Sound Attack player. His character, competitiveness, and creativity with and without the puck are qualities we believe will help our team this year and will stand out to NHL clubs during his draft year.”

Fans can watch Lisi and the rest of the Attack play this preseason on Saturday, September 5 against the Barrie Colts and on Thursday, September 10 against the Brampton Steelheads at the Bayshore.
