67’s blank Spitfires to kick off road trip
Fresh off being named the OHL’s Goalie of the Month for October, Ottawa 67’s netminder Cedrik Andree stopped all 26 shots in a 1-0 shutout over the Windsor Spitfires on Thursday.
Andree’s first OHL shutout kept the Spitfires off the board, while Tyle Felhaber, with his 17th goal of the year, provided the all the offensive support needed to give the first-place 67’s their fourth-straight win. Ottawa, ranked second overall in the CHL, has now won 10 of their last 11 games.
Ottawa will now cross the border to visit Flint on Saturday and Saginaw on Sunday. The 67’s will be back in front of their own fans on Wednesday, November 7th, where they will be holding their annual School Day Game at 11 a.m.
