T.J. played four seasons in the OHL for the Windsor Spitfires, Barrie Colts, Kitchener Rangers, Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds and Mississauga St. Michael's Majors. The 6-foot-1 right winger recorded 30 points and a plus-13 rating in 59 games during the 2007-08 season. After his Major Junior career, he appeared in two games for the East Coast Hockey League's Alaska Aces followed by one year with the Ryerson University Rams.
