Heroes night

Heroes night is a game night dedicated to acknowledging and honouring those who risk their lives on a daily basis to protect our rights, freedom, safety, health and on a whole our Country. We would like to make this an evening dedicated to honouring those who have and will continue to so bravely protected our lives.

While developing this evening our thoughts went out to those children who fight every day here in Ottawa for their lives. These are children of CHEO. They are also heroes. We have committed to giving five dollars from each ticket bought to that Friday night’s game to CHEO. We hope that this night will bring a much-needed level of focus and awareness of the heroic measures taken every day by those who have dedicated their lives to helping others.

We would like to have each group purchase 250 tickets to sell within their organizations. We feel that with the evening’s focus, having as many heroes in the stands as possible would be impactful. When planning this evening we have realized that it is next to impossible to single out one particular person from each group. We would like to honour them all. By planning with your input an on ice presentation to the heroes in our community, followed by a cheque presentation to CHEO.
