Penultimate regular season game leads 67’s to Kingston
With just two games left on the socket before the start of the postseason, the Ottawa 67’s are eyeing a second straight win on Friday night, in a 7:00pm visit to the Kingston Frontenacs.
As these divisional opponents square off for the final time this season, fans can catch the action on Rogers TV, CHL TV, or on TSN 1200, where Kenny Walls has the radio call.
Ottawa enjoyed an offensive explosion last night in Peterborough, cruising to a 9-0 win over the Petes. Brad Gardiner led the way with his first OHL hat trick, in a game where Will Gerrior scored a pair of goals, and Ian Michelone logged his first shutout as a member of the 67’s.
Kingston, who has enjoyed dominance over Ottawa this season, are winners of two straight, after beating the North Bay Battalion 4-3 on Sunday. Paul Ludwinski scored with 10 seconds left in overtime, securing the extra point after the Frontenacs let a 3-1 lead slip away.
