OHL Priority Selection live blog
The OHL Priority Selection presented by Real Canadian Superstore is upon us, with Rounds 1-3 set for 7:00pm on Friday April 11 followed by Rounds 4-15 on Saturday April 12, beginning at 9:00am.
Fans, friends and family can tune in from around the globe as numerous locations will carry the coverage being produced by YourTV, with the Priority Selection being carried for free across the OHL’s YouTube, X and Facebook channels in addition to OHL Live on CHL TV. Follow the proceedings on local community YourTV, Rogers tv and Eastlink channels (check local listings) as well as the Rogers Super Sports Pak on Friday night, before YourTV and Eastlink continue to carry the Priority Selection province-wide throughout Saturday.
Sarnia Sting play-by-play voice Terry Doyle will host the annual Priority Selection joined by Owen Sound Attack play-by-play broadcaster Mark McKelvie and Director of OHL Central Scouting Darrell Woodley on the desk.

R.1 P.3 – C Brock Chitaroni, Barrie Jr. Colts

Hometown: Marathon, Ontario
“Brock is a strong, competitive player, who is among the fastest skaters in his age group,” said 67’s General Manager James Boyd. “He is a very consistent right-shot centre, who has an impact on every game. We are excited to welcome him to the Ottawa 67’s.”
Chitaroni, a native of Marathon, Ontario, tallied 29 goals and 30 assists for 59 points in just 31 games this past season. He also saw some post-season success, scoring seven goals and 11 assists for 18 points in eight games played. At the 2025 OHL Cup tournament, Chitaroni logged a goal and an assist through four games.
R.2 P.32 (via Niagara) – D Jack Johnson, Toronto Marlboros

Weight: 180
Hometown: Stouffville, Ontario
“Jack is a big right-shot defender who moves well,” said Ottawa 67’s General Manager James Boyd. “He’s responsible defensively and a great leader. We’re thrilled to get him.”
A Stouffville, Ontario native, Johnson was a point-per-game player at this year’s OHL Cup, scoring one goal and three assists for four points in four games.
R.3 P.48 (via Owen Sound) – D Cade Campbell, Toronto Red Wings

Hometown: Toronto, Ontario
“Cade is a smooth-skating defenceman who has shown great improvement in his game over the past several years,” said Ottawa 67’s General Manager James Boyd. “He’s a puck-mover who is going to fit in really well with our system.”
Hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Campbell suited up for the Toronto Red Wings U16 AAA program this past season, where he tallied a goal in four games at this year’s OHL Cup tournament.
R.3 P.53 (via Sudbury) – C/RW Reid Hayes, Windsor Jr. Spitfires

Hometown: LaSalle, Ontario
“Reid is a goal-scorer who has scored at every level,” said Ottawa 67’s General Manager James Boyd. “He plays with a lot of heart and determination, and we’re thrilled to be able to select him.”
Hayes tallied 25 goals and 29 assists for 54 points in 29 games this past season. The LaSalle, Ontario native also played for the Spitfires’ U18 AAA program, where he scored two goals in three games.
R.4 P. 64 (via Peterborough) – D Trevor Shorter, Chicago Mission

Height: 6.06
Weight: 175
Hometown: Elmhurst, Illinois
“Trevor is an athletic defenceman who is hard to play against,” said Ottawa 67’s Scout Marty Hogan. “He moves well for his size and has a good stick. He’s a physical player with great intangibles.”
Shorter, an Elmhurst, Illinois native, suited up for the Chicago Mission 15U AAA program this past season, where he tallied one assist in four games at this year’s US 15U Nationals.
R.4 P. 72 (via Niagara) – RW Blake Zielinski, Des Moines Buccaneers

Weight: 182
Hometown: Berlin, New Jersey
“Blake is a skilled forward with high-end hockey sense,” said Ottawa 67’s Scout Marty Hogan. “He has a good motor and makes plays.”
Zielinski appeared for the USHL’s Des Moines Buccaneers this season. The Berlin, New Jersey native scored 11 goals and 19 assists for 30 points in 40 games.
R.5 P.98 (via Kingston) – G Noah La Gambina, Don Mills Flyers

Hometown: Richmond Hill, Ontario
“Noah is an athletic goaltender who had a great OHL Cup and won a GTHL championship,” said Ottawa 67’s Head of Goaltending Evaluation and Development Charlie McTavish. “He kept his team in some close games. He has a lot of good assets.”
La Gambina suited up for the Don Mills Flyers U16 AAA program this past season where he posted a 5-1-0 record; with a 1.36 goals against average, and .931 save percentage at this year’s OHL Cup. The Richmond Hill, Ontario native was also named to the 2025 OHL Cup Gatorade All-Star Team.
R.6 P107 – RW Brayden Blyth, York-Simcoe Express

Height: 6.00.5
Weight: 169
Hometown: Minesing, Ontario
“Brayden is a power forward with a heavy shot,” said Ottawa 67’s Scout Jay Lacroix. “He works hard all the time.”
Blyth tallied 18 goals and 14 assists for 32 points in 28 games this past season. The Minesing, Ontario native saw some success at this year’s OHL Cup, posting one goal and three assists for four points in four games.
R.8 P.147 – D Caleb Gauthier, Eastern Ontario Wild

Height: 6.01.5
Weight: 176
Hometown: Casselman, Ontario
“Caleb is a big, physical defenceman that takes care of the areas around his net and in the corners,” said scout Ryan Ferizovic. “He is able to secure the puck, and makes a really strong first pass on the breakout.”
Gauthier suited up for the Eastern Ontario Wild U16 AAA program this past season. The Casselman, Ontario native tallied three goals and 15 assists for 18 points in 32 games played.
R.10 P.187 – D Robbie Dragusica, Toronto Marlboros

Weight: 160
Hometown: Stoney Creek, Ontario
“Robbie is a physical presence,” said Ottawa 67’s Scout Tristan Whitley. “He has a relentless drive and looks to make a difference at both ends of the ice.”
Dragusica tallied four goals and 11 assists for 15 points in 30 games played with the Toronto Marlboros U16 AAA program. The Stoney Creek, Ontario native also played in this year’s OHL Cup, where he recorded one goal and one assist in four games.
R.11 P.207 – LW Colby Coombe, Detroit HoneyBaked

Height: 6.02
Weight: 179
Hometown: Shelby Township, Michigan
“Colby is a big power forward who continues to develop to round out his game,” said Ottawa 67’s Scout Marty Hogan. “He uses his frame well to take pucks to the net, and has the ability to finish.”
Coombe suited up for the Detroit Honeybaked 15U AAA program. The Shelby Township, Michigan native tallied 30 goals and 34 assists for 64 points in 61 games this past season.
R.12 P.227 – RW Lucas Balanyk, Toronto Marlboros

Height: 5.07.75
Weight: 165
Hometown: Mississauga, Ontario
“Lucas made good progression throughout the year,” said Ottawa 67’s Scout Tristan Whitley. “He sees the offensive zone really well, and can make plays.”
Balanyk, 15, tallied 18 goals and 23 assists for 41 points in 33 games this past season. The Toronto, Ontario native also played at this year’s OHL Cup, where he recorded two assists in four games.
R.13 P.247 – LW Karter Lundmark, Bishop Kearney Selects

Hometown: Coatesville, Pennsylvania
“Karter has good hockey sense with offensive upside,” said Ottawa 67’s Scout Tristan Whitley. “He comes from a pro family, and scored almost a goal-per-game with Bishop Kearney Selects this season.”
Lundmark suited up for the Bishop Kearney Selects U15 AAA program this past season. The Coatesville, Pennsylvania native tallied 42 goals and 45 assists for 87 points in 70 games played. He is the son of former NHLer Jamie Lundmark.
R.14 P.267 – C Noah Krula, Oakville Rangers

Hometown: Milton, Ontario
“Noah is a mobile centreman who is creative,” said Ottawa 67’s Scout Ryan Ferizovic. “He makes plays in the tight areas and has the IQ to find open space away from the puck in the offensive zone.”
Krula tallied nine goals and 17 assists for 26 points in 23 games played. The Milton, Ontario native also recorded one goal in three games during this year’s postseason.
R.15 P.287 – LW Nolan Shorter, Chicago Mission

Weight: 185
Hometown: Elmhurst, Illinois
“Nolan is a big kid who can skate,” said Ottawa 67’s Scout Marty Hogan. “He’s a physical presence, and has a lot of upside.”
Shorter suited up for the Chicago Mission U15 AAA program this past season. The Elmhurst, Illinois native played in four games at this year’s US U15 Nationals. He is the twin brother of 67’s 64th overall pick, Trevor Shorter.
