NHL’s future stars take to the ice in 67’s home opener
On September 27th, at 7 p.m., you have the inside track to see the NHL’s future stars, with the Ottawa 67’s home opener against the Niagara IceDogs.
These hallowed halls have seen many greats; Logan Couture, Peter Lee, Tyler Toffoli, Denis Potvin, Pavel Mintyukov, and Gary Roberts, to name only a few.
Pro dreams are the fuel of the junior hockey spirit; kids vying every day to prove their worth to the black-coated NHL scouts, who can make or break their playing future. Every shift is an opportunity to be seized, making certain great action and excitement.
Junior hockey truly is a special place, where dreams run wild, matched only by the ambition of the most driven young men in all of sports.
When they close their eyes, they’ll see themselves one day pulling an NHL team’s jersey over their head on the NHL Draft stage, or scoring their first professional goal, but on September 27th, when they lift their head during the national anthem, it’s the Niagara IceDogs standing across from them.
Blood, sweat, and tears, a tireless effort to reach the OHL mountaintop begins for the 67’s on that night.
Emotions will be high, and the hype unmatched. As the red lights illuminate the 67’s individual introductions, and they skate out onto the ice to the roar of the crowd, they’ll be reminded of the opportunity in front of them, playing in front of the best fans in junior hockey.
