GAME PREVIEW: 67’s set for home skirmish against Battalion
OTTAWA, ON – The Ottawa 67’s (39-13-1-2) welcome the North Bay Battalion (30-23-2-1) to Ottawa for a game at TD Place on Saturday, February 22nd, presented by Real Canadian Superstore. Fans can also tune in to the game on Rogers TV Channel 22, via Flo Hockey, or listen to TSN 1200 for play-by-play from Kenny Walls.
The 67’s will take to the ice wearing the winner of the Real Canadian Superstore jersey contest. Fresh off a four-point performance over Niagara, Cooper Foster leads the way in Ottawa with 56 points. Carolina Hurricanes prospect Filip Ekberg, who is coming off a two-point performance himself, will suit up in his 100th career OHL game tonight. Nic Whitehead will also look to add to his massive three-assist game against the IceDogs, as a multi-point night can bring him to the point-per-game mark this season.
On the other side, North Bay is led by Anaheim Ducks prospect Ethan Procyszyn with 45 points on the year. Overager Sebastien Gervais has been one of their most prolific scorers as well, with 13 points in 18 games since joining North Bay from Saginaw, where he was teammates with 67’s forward Nic Sima. The team also boasts 2026 NHL draft-eligible Ryder Cali, who has risen on public boards thanks to his physical play and a nose for the net.
This is the last of four regular-season meetings between these two teams, with Ottawa winning two of their three matchups so far. The 67’s took the first two matchups of the season, but North Bay picked up the win in the most recent game. Both teams are coming off a recent change in fortunes, with the 67’s having just snapped a three-game losing streak and North Bay ending a four-game winning streak with a recent loss to Kingston.

North Bay’s roster features a few players from eastern Ontario, including Carter Kunopaski (Pakenham), Kent Greer (Renfrew), and Aaron Enright (Cobden).
