GAME PREVIEW: 67’s looking to catch two points against Steelheads
OTTAWA, ON – The Ottawa 67’s (43-14-3-3) continue their final weekend on the road, taking on the Brampton Steelheads (43-13-2-4), Friday, March 13th, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Fans can tune in to the game via Flo Hockey or listen to TSN 1200 for play-by-play from Kenny Walls.
Cooper Foster enters the game after claiming sole possession of the team point lead with 58 on the season. Nic Whitehead’s stick has been sizzling as of late, with four goals across his last two games. The 67’s also have two players hunting for season goal milestones, with Jasper Kuhta one shy of 30 and Spencer Bowes one away from 20.
Ex-67’s forward Nathan Amidovski is tied for the team lead in points for the Steelheads with 30 on the season. He suffered an upper-body injury last week against Ottawa and is unlikely to dress. He is tied with Kieran Witkowski, who scored the game-winning goal in the last meeting. Carter Hicks is the team’s leader on the blueline, with 15 points on the season.
This is the third meeting between the two teams, with Ottawa leading with two wins. The 67’s took the first two games of the series, with Brampton winning the last to end a 13-game losing streak—a fact that will no doubt fire up the 67’s locker room. Both teams are entering the game having won their last two straight.
Capital connections:
The Steelheads have a couple of players from the National Capital region, including defenseman Sean Matthew Goyette and goaltender Zach Bowen.
Alongside Amidovski, the team also includes former 67’s forward Jaxon Williams.
