Free agent goaltender Ryder Fetterolf commits to Ottawa 67’s

The Ottawa 67’s announced that free agent goaltender Ryder Fetterolf has signed an Ontario Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement with the team.

“Ryder is a top goaltender in his age group who has made an impression on our staff with his focus and work ethic,” said 67’s General Manager James Boyd. “We are excited that Ryder will continue his development with the 67’s.”

Fetterolf, 17, joins the 67’s following a stellar season with Gilmour Academy, where he posted a .940 save percentage and a 1.64 goals-against average across 61 games in the USHS-Prep circuit. Prior to his time with the prep team, Fetterolf also saw action with Gilmour’s Power Play Hockey U18 program, recording a .891 save percentage and 1.70 goals-against average in 14 games.

A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Fetterolf is currently committed to Penn State University (NCAA Division I).

Les 67’s d’Ottawa ont annoncé que le gardien de but Ryder Fetterolf, agent libre, a signé une entente de bourse d’études et de développement de la Ligue de hockey de l’Ontario avec l’équipe.

« Ryder est l’un des meilleurs gardiens de son groupe d’âge et il a impressionné notre personnel par sa concentration et son éthique de travail », a déclaré James Boyd, directeur général des 67’s.  « Nous sommes ravis que Ryder poursuive son développement avec les 67’s. »

Fetterolf, 17 ans, se joint aux 67’s après une excellente saison avec la Gilmour Academy, où il a affiché un pourcentage d’arrêts de 0,940 et une moyenne de buts alloués de 1,64 en 61 matchs dans le circuit USHS-Prep. Avant son séjour avec l’équipe préparatoire, Fetterolf a également participé au programme Power Play Hockey U18 de Gilmour, enregistrant un pourcentage d’arrêts de 0,891 et une moyenne de buts alloués de 1,70 en 14 matchs.

Originaire de Pittsburgh, en Pennsylvanie, Fetterolf s’est engagé auprès de l’Université Penn State (NCAA Division I).
