Everybody screams 6-7
OTTAWA, ON – The Ottawa 67’s are back on home ice this morning, hosting the Brampton Steelheads for their first School Day Game of the season; appropriately, it’s the 6-7 game. Puck drop is set for 10:30 a.m. Fans can catch all the action live on Flo Hockey, tune in to Kenny Walls’ broadcast on TSN 1200, or watch on Rogers TV.
In their last outing, the 67’s fell short against the Guelph Storm, losing 4-3. Jasper Kuhta scored the first goal, while Brayden Krawczyk celebrated his first OHL goal, and Ryan White recorded his first goal of the season. Despite a strong start, Guelph took the lead late in the third period with a game-winning goal from defenseman Noah Jenken.
The Brampton Steelheads are travelling to Ottawa, hoping to bounce back after suffering a 5-1 defeat against the Niagara IceDogs. With a record of 6-7-0-0, the Steelheads have experienced a mixed start to the season. Third-year winger Kieran Witkowski is leading the team in points and continues to be the primary offensive contributor.
