Barber Poles visit IceDogs for Saturday night tilt
The Ottawa 67’s are looking to keep their hot streak rolling into Niagara, Saturday night.
Ottawa scored 10 times, a night ago, en route to a convincing win over the Mississauga Steelheads inside The Arena at TD Place, that pushed their current winning streak to four games. They’ll aim to make it five, tonight, when they drop in on the IceDogs at 7:00pm. Fans can stream on CHL TV, or hear Kenny Walls call the action on 580 CFRA.
It was an offensive explosion for the Barber Poles a night ago, as they earned a 10-3 decision over the Trout. Will Gerrior scored a pair, as did Cameron Tolnai, to go with markers from Caden Kelly, Brady Stonehouse, Luca Pinelli, Jack Beck, and Jack Matier. Collin MacKenzie picked up the win in a relief effort, making 16 saves.
The IceDogs, meanwhile, are looking to stop an ugly skid, having lost their last nine straight games. They dropped a 6-2 result on the road to the Hamilton Bulldogs, last night, with Christopher O’Flaherty scoring twice, and Owen Flores making a valiant 39 saves in goal.
