Barber Poles end pre-holiday schedule in Kingston
After dropping their Teddy Bear Toss game against the Hamilton Bulldogs, Saturday afternoon, the Ottawa 67’s are back in action on Sunday, visiting the Kingston Frontenacs at 2:00pm for their final game before the winter break. Fans can stream on CHL TV, or hear Kenny Walls call the action on TSN 1200.
Brad Gardiner scored the iconic Teddy Toss goal, yesterday, but it would ultimately be all the offence Ottawa could muster, in a 3-1 defeat.
The Frontenacs were scheduled to visit the Peterborough Petes on Saturday, but the game was postponed in light of the tragic passing of London Knights forward Abakar Kazbekov.
Ottawa has taken both meetings against Kingston, thus far, by scores of 6-3, and 7-1, but will again be shorthanded, today, with injuries, and World Juniors berths removing Barber Poles from the lineup.
