Barber Poles aim to solve Bulldogs
With a chance to win their sixth consecutive game, Sunday afternoon, the Ottawa 67’s will face a team that has had their number all season.
The Hamilton Bulldogs have won three of four matchups against the Barber Poles, during the 2022-23 campaign, and the 67’s will attempt to prevent them from taking the final regular season meeting, when they visit the FirstOntario Centre this afternoon. Puck drop is set for 2:00pm, and fans can stream live on CHL TV, or hear Kenny Walls call the action on TSN 1200.
Cameron Tolnai, Brady Stonehouse, and Brad Gardiner combined for a trio of goals, last night, that combined with 29 saves from Collin MacKenzie, secured a 3-2 road win over the Niagara IceDogs, Saturday evening. It was the fifth straight win for the 67s; the second of which has come away from home.
Hamilton had Saturday off, after earning a home victory over those same IceDogs on Friday night. Lawson Shark scored two, with Sahil Panwar, Callum Cheynowski, Nick Landis, and Adrian Rebelo also finding the scoresheet. Matteo Drobac was in net, making 16 saves for the win.
