67’s make penultimate visit to Petes
For the seventh of eight times on the season, the Ottawa 67’s will take on their East Division rivals, Thursday night.
The Barber Poles are visiting the Peterborough Petes, tonight, hoping to end a two-game skid. When the puck drops at 7:05pm, fans can watch live on Rogers TV, stream on CHL TV, or hear Kenny Walls call the action for 580 CFRA.
Ottawa put forth a valiant comeback effort on Tuesday night, but couldn’t overcame eight Oshawa powerplays in a 5-4 loss to the Generals. Charlie Hilton, Luca Pinelli, Frankie Marrelli, and Derek Smyth were the goal-scorers, in a 26-save performance by Collin MacKenzie.
The Petes had similar fortunes on Tuesday, losing 5-4 to the Barrie Colts in overtime. Despite goals from Caden Taylor, Braydon McCallum, Tommy Purdeller, and Jonathan Melee erasing a 3-1 deficit, the game slipped away from the home side, despite Zach Bowen making 36 saves.
