67’s look to bring the thunder in Guelph
OTTAWA, ON – Today, the Ottawa 67’s will face the Guelph Storm at Sleeman Centre. Puck drop is set for 2:07 p.m. Fans can catch all the action live on Flo Hockey or tune in to Kenny Walls’ broadcast on TSN 1200.
The Barber Poles enter Sunday looking to bounce back after dropping both games on their Western Ontario trip. Most recently, Ottawa battled the reigning Memorial Cup champions, the London Knights, falling 3-2 in overtime. After a quiet opening forty minutes, Nic Whitehead sparked Ottawa’s momentum, and Cooper Foster sent the 67’s into their first overtime of the season. London sealed the win, and the game concluded with a 6-7 celebration from the OT goal scorer, Ben Wilmott.
After a challenging 2024-25 campaign that saw them finish with a 21-38-5-4 record, the Guelph Storm have shown early signs of progress this season. Through 12 games, Guelph sits at 5-5-2-0, finding more consistency on both sides of the puck. The Storm have been competitive in nearly every outing, pushing several games beyond regulation, and will look to build momentum as they continue to climb the Western Conference standings.
