67’s host Spitfires Sunday
On Sunday afternoon, the Ottawa 67’s (20-30-3-5) will ditch their traditional barber pole uniforms in favour of their Real Canadian Superstore threads, which feature Riley the Racoon prominently, as they host the Windsor Spitfires (40-14-4-1) inside The Arena at TD Place. Puck drop is at 2 p.m.

Last time out, the 67’s claimed victory in a pivotal matchup against the North Bay Battalion, climbing within three points of the final postseason spot in the Eastern Conference. In their 5-2 win, Ottawa got two goals from Filip Ekberg, while Cooper Foster, Will Gerrior, and Chris Barlas notched one each.
Sunday is the final game of Ottawa’s six-game home stand, in which time they have a 2-3 record, earning wins over the Niagara IceDogs, as well as the Battalion.
The Spitfires are among the class of the OHL this season, currently sitting in the top spot in the West Division. With a 1-1 record on the weekend, Windsor is coming off a 4-2 loss to the Kingston Frontenacs on Friday night, with both goals coming courtesy of former Front Luke McNamara.
Both Liam Greentree and Ilya Protas have eclipsed the 100-point mark this season, sitting with 103 and 101 respectively.
In their only other meeting this season, the Spits doubled up the 67’s, taking a 6-3 win.
