If you’re coming to the rink, here’s everything you’ll need to know.
The 67’s are winners of two in a row, coming off a thrilling overtime win over the Guelph Storm on Friday night. Goals from Henry Mews, Chris Barlas, Will Gerrior, and Luca Pinelli put Ottawa out in front 4-1, but the Storm came back in the third period, sending the game to overtime.
Mews scored the winner, banking a pair of important points for the 67’s, who were without Kohyn Eshkawkogan for the first time. He remains at the World U17 Challenge, which begins today.
Kingston has their past three games, including a 6-3 win over the Storm on Saturday afternoon. The Fronts also mounted themselves a sizeable lead, with Matthew Soto scoring a couple to put them out front 5-0 in the second period, but once again, the Storm worked their way back.
This time, they couldn’t level the score, but they did make it close, scoring a trio of goals in the third period for the second time in as many nights, before Kingston sealed the deal with an empty net goal.
In their only prior meeting in 2024-25, the 67’s took an overtime victory.
