67’s host Frontenacs for final home game of the 2024-25 regular season
For one last time in the 2024-25 regular season, the Ottawa 67’s (22-33-3-6) are on home ice inside The Arena at TD Place on Sunday afternoon, hosting the Kingston Frontenacs (38-18-5-3) for a 2 p.m. puck drop. There is still time for you to get your tickets.
Before you come, here’s everything you need to know. If you can’t make it out, you can see the game on Rogers TV and CHLTV, and you can hear Kenny Walls’ call on TSN 1200.
The 67’s will be celebrating St. Paddy’s Day, complete with special green uniforms, $2 hot dogs, and fun activations on the concourse. Be sure to check them out.
Ottawa dropped a decision to the Fronts on Wednesday night in Kingston, but bounced back on Friday with a massive 3-2 win over the Oshawa Generals. The 67’s goals came courtesy of Ryan White, his first in the OHL, Filip Ekberg, who extended his point streak to seven games, and Luca Pinelli.
The win moved the Barber Poles just two points back of the North Bay Battalion for the final playoff position in the Eastern Conference with four games left to play.
Kingston has had a big start to their week, beating the 67’s 7-1 on Wednesday night, before handling the Peterborough Petes 8-2 on Friday night. Joey Willis scored four times in their Friday night win, being named the game’s first star.
Barring a post-season meeting, it’s former 67’s forward Tuomas Uronen’s final visit to TD Place this season, and he’s riding high, picking up five points this week, all of which have been helpers.
Kingston currently holds a four-game-to-three lead in the season series, meaning the 67’s can clinch a tie with a win this afternoon.
